Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration

Join us as we gather to celebrate the spirit and person of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event will feature guest speaker Rev. Bill King, as well as music by the Unity Choir in the auditorium of Floyd County High School, to be followed by food and fellowship in the high school cafeteria. Part of purpose is to learn the history of the US Civil Rights from our elders, to continue Rev. Dr. King’s work of reconciliation, understanding and respect between all races and ethnic peoples, and to strengthen our Floyd community through social interaction. This event is free and open to the public.
