ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS OF THE WONDERFUL FARMERS MARKET……Come out this Saturday, the 12th, 9-1 to stock up for winter…and don’t miss the HOLIDAY MARKET on the 19th.
With the holidays rapidly approaching, why not prepare local foods and enjoy the bounty Floyd County farmers have to offer? You can even purchase your turkey or lamb or ham, along with an array of seasonal vegetables…potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, parsnips, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, apples, nuts. It is time to stock your root cellar. We will have a guest vendor at the Holiday Market, who will offer artisanal cheeses. Good Food Good People is currently taking orders for your Thanksgiving turkey.
Before we hunker down for winter, let’s stock our shelves. If you haven’t had the time to prepare canned goods, you can purchase jams and jellies, pickles, sauces, chutneys and relishes….along with many other preserved foods. Herb plants, fungi jewelry, soaps, and Farmers Market tees are just a few of the gift items you will find.
