Wine & Art Opening Reception at the Hotel Floyd, sponsored by the Floyd Center for the Arts

Inside the “Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery” at the Hotel Floyd, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Friday, July 12, 2019, this Wine and Art Reception will feature exquisite paintings by Shaun C. Whiteside, as well as the unique pottery, jewelry and watercolors by Sidra Kaluszka. At about 6:15, local author, Scott Perry will tell about his book, “Endeavor: Cultivate Excellence While Making a Difference,” and then each artist will give a short gallery talk about their art.

Adding a new dimension to these Receptions (which are free and open to the public), the FCA will also feature and offer for sale that night the award winning wines of AmRhein, a family-owned estate winery who will also tell about their winery.

Work by each rotation of local artists and authors will be on exhibit and for sale at the Hotel Floyd the night of the Reception and for the following two months, when the next Wine & Art Reception will take place, which is on the 2nd Friday of every other month, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hotel Floyd.

All FCA Wine & Art Receptions are held at the Hotel Floyd inside their beautiful “Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery” (across from the main desk inside the Hotel Floyd). The Receptions are open to the public and include free refreshments, a no-host wine bar, and the opportunity to interact with the artists, author and wine staff from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
