Born in Texas, and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Jamison finished high school in London, England. It was in London that he first began writing and performing his own music. Chris Jamison is a songwriter with a keen sense of hook, and melody coupled effortlessly with a gift for the turn-of-a-phrase. No Depression has called his songs “sing-a-long immediate and earworm lasting”, while the Austin Chronicle has called the “prolific” young songwriter’s lyrics “contemporary poetry” even naming his Sleeping with the T.V. On EP to its Top Ten List of 2013.

Chris Jamison’s Ghost is a five piece band featuring Chris Jamison on guitar and vocals, accompanied by a sax/flute player, a keyboardist that also plays drums and percussion, a bass player and a lap steel guitar player
