Private Sector – Businesses Contributions

Floyd County does not have large commercial lodging businesses. While this gives a quaint, small-town feel that contributes greatly to visitor appeal, it also means there are not substantial transient lodging taxes. Floyd County’s tourism initiative has required a blend of both public and private monies to support a county-wide effort at initial phases.

THANK YOU to the private businesses who initially supported the development of the tourism initiative:

  • Ambrosia Farm B&B
  • Appalachian Power
  • Bank of Floyd
  • Beaver Glen B&B
  • Bell Gallery & Garden
  • Bella La Vita Inn
  • Blue Ridge Land & Auction
  • Chateau Morrisette Winery
  • Chantilly Farm
  • Citizens Telephone Cooperative
  • Floyd Country Store
  • Floyd Lodging Association
  • Green Label Organic
