Private Sector – Businesses Contributions
Floyd County does not have large commercial lodging businesses. While this gives a quaint, small-town feel that contributes greatly to visitor appeal, it also means there are not substantial transient lodging taxes. Floyd County’s tourism initiative has required a blend of both public and private monies to support a county-wide effort at initial phases.
THANK YOU to the private businesses who initially supported the development of the tourism initiative:

- Appalachian Power
- Bank of Floyd
- Beaver Glen B&B
