Upcoming Holiday Events:

Murder at the North Pole, Moonlight Manor, Dec. 5th at 6 PM. Bundle up - there’s been a chilling crime at the North Pole. 
During a winter gathering in Santa’s village, Jack Frost is found murdered in the snowy woods. Now everyone’s a suspect: elves, reindeer handlers, even Santa’s inner circle. Can you uncover who did it before the magic of Christmas melts away? Come in Costume as one of the suspects. Enjoy a meal and a night of entertainment. $35 per person, must be paid in advance. Prizes are awarded for Best Costume, Best Actor, and for solving the crime.

Earth Dance Holiday Celebration, Earth Dance Jewelry & Gems, Dec 5th from 10 AM - 7 PM; Dec 6th from 10 AM - 6 PM and Dec 7th from 11 AM - 5 PM. Join us at Earth Dance Jewelry & Gems for a Holiday Celebration – featuring holiday specials and give aways – including $50 gift certificates. Earth Dance features gem jewelry by Pat Sharkey, gem jewelry and art from around the earth, and gem/mineral specimens for all level of collectors.

Tuba Christmas, Floyd Country High School, Dec. 6th at 4 PM. We hope you will join us for Tuba Christmas at Floyd County High School on December 6th, 2025. This festive performance will take place beginning at 4:00 PM in the FCHS Auditorium. Christmas Party & Music Jam, Wildwood Farms, Dec. 6th at 12 PM. EVERYONE is invited! We want to share the day, have some great food and enjoy the holiday spirit with our friends, family, customers and community. Please make plans to join us this Saturday, December 6th for our Christmas party and music jam! We will have free food from 12P- 1:30P or until it is gone. The music jam will be from 1:30-3:30. The kitchen will be closed that day. If there are changes due to weather, we will post here. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Live Nativity Drive-Thru, Willis Full Gospel Church, Dec. 6th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Come and experience the life of Jesus from Bethlehem to the Resurrection with our live nativity drive-thru. More info here.

31st Annual Winterfest & Festival of Trees, Floyd Center for the Arts, Dec. 6th and 7th from 10 AM to 5 PMThis FREE event is brimming with festive cheer, local arts, crafts, and community spirit — the perfect way to kick off the holiday season! Shop Local: Find one-of-a-kind gifts from a talented selection of local artisans, featuring handmade ceramics, paintings, jewelry, fiber arts, woodworking, baked goods, and so much more!

The Holiday Gift Market, The Book House of Floyd, Dec. 6th from 10 AM to 5 PM; Dec. 7th from 1 PM to 5 PM. Stop in the Book House of Floyd to shop for handcrafted gifts, peruse the cozy bookshop shelves, enjoy cafe treats, and live music.

The Annual Floyd County Christmas Parade, Downtown Floyd, Dec. 7th at 3 PM. Join the Floyd Community for one of our favorite annual traditions. The parade will come down S Locust St and take a right at the stoplight onto East Main St.

Christmas in Floyd, Floyd United Methodist Church, Dec. 7th from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. The event will include our annual children's nativity, Christmas carols, and music from Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, returning for a second year. Tickets are free and they go fast! S’mores with Santa, DJ’s Drive In, Dec. 12th from 5 pm to 8 pm. Join us for a cozy evening filled with holiday magic! Stay warm by the fire and enjoy delicious s’mores while sharing your wishes with Santa. It’s the perfect way to spread some cheer and create sweet memories this season! 

Holiday Floyd Farmers Market, Dec. 13th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Stop by the Floyd Farmers Market for a festive holiday experience and support our local farmers, bakers, and makers.

Pet Photos with Santa Claus at Sacred Star and Stone, Dec. 13th from 2 PM to 6 PM. Bring your friendly pets to Sacred Star and Stone to capture a sweet photo of them with Santa Claus!

Holiday Open House, Anne Vaughan Designs, Dec. 13th 10 AM - 5 PM and Dec. 14th 11AM - 4 PM. Get ready and join the AVD team in toasting the holidays with two separate immersive jewelry areas featuring our complete collections, one-of-a-kind designs, and exclusive end-of-year holiday specials all weekend. All attendees who RSVP and attend will be entered to win a $75 gift certificate to be given away during the event Saturday and Sunday! 

Christmas Craft Party with Santa, Dogtown Pizza, Dec. 14th from 2 PM to 5 PM. Get into the holiday spirit with a fun and festive Christmas Craft Decorating Party right here at Dogtown! While Santa is in the house spreading cheer, we’ll have a cozy craft table set up inside where you can make your own ornaments from scratch — perfect for gifting or hanging on your tree.

Home For the Holidays Concert, Dec. 14th at 2:30 PM. Nationally acclaimed Soprano Adelaide Trombetta joins Maestro David Stewart Wiley at the grand piano. This dynamic duo presents festive and uplifting program of great classics, virtuoso piano solos, and a special audience singalong. Sustainable Gift Wrapping, SustainFloyd Office, Dec. 20th from 10 AM to 1 PM. Join Sustain Floyd as we share ideas on sustainable gift wrapping and offer a free wrapping service using recycled and sustainable materials. The event is free for downtown shoppers, donations accepted. Come by and say hello!

"Wrap up the Year" Charity Event, DJ’s Drive In, Dec. 23rdLet DJ’s help you wrap up the year—literally! Bring your holiday gifts and we’ll wrap them for you during reserved time slots in exchange for a donation to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds beds for children who don’t have one. DJ’s will match donations up to a set amount, doubling the impact and helping even more kids sleep safely and comfortably. Come enjoy the season, support a cause close to our hearts, and leave with beautifully wrapped gifts and a little extra Christmas spirit.
