Move to the Music – Road Trip to Floyd VA

Floyd is renowned for our home-spun and diverse music- from traditional old-time and bluegrass to rock, blues and other styles.

We are a key stop on The Crooked Road, Virginia’s heritage music trail - with our famous Friday Night Jamboree at the Floyd Country Store and County Sales, home of the world’s largest collection of traditional bluegrass and old-time music.

Many annual events are back in 2021 such as Floyd Small Town Summer, Floydfest, Replenish, Floyd Yoga Jam and new events like the Floyd Americana Music Festival downtown Floyd (Sept 18)

Music IS happening weekly at numerous outdoor and indoor venues - including the Floyd Country Store, Dogtown Roadhouse, Buffalo Mountain Brewery, Wildwood Farm, Five Mile Mountain Distillery, OuterSpace, and Village Green (Heathers).
