We are a farm community here on the Blue Ridge Plateau - with hearts and hands close to the land.

Floyd County's rich history in agriculture is the foundation for continued growth and diversity in farms and their products

 Floyd Farmers Market -   205 South Locust St, Floyd VA 24091 at the Community Market Pavilion

The Farmers Market serves as the hub for the Floyd Farm scene. Various vendors offer locally-grown produce and hand-crafted artisan foods. May through October with fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, artisan bread, grass-grown meats and free range poultry, preserves, pickles, and beverages,- AND specialty foods, artisans and MUSIC!

Saturdays 9am-1pm (10am-1 pm during the Winter Market-Jan. 7th to April 22nd) AND Thursday market 4-8pm, with online ordering option with Thursday pick-ups

The Floyd EcoVillage Farm provides organic fresh vegetables at farmers markets and through our CSA Farm Share.

The FARM STORE is open 7am-8pm during the Summer and 8am-7pm during the Fall/Winter and offers fruit, meat, flowers, bread, grains and some other goods from different vendors.

  Riverstone grows certified organic vegetables for wholesale, CSA, farmers markets and our Farm Store.

FARM STORE is open daily 9am-7pm year round offering: our vegetables, frozen soups and artisan foods and also products from regionally-based farms and artisans including pasture-raised beef, eggs, cheese, honey, krauts, bread, coffee, flowers, snacks and more! 

The Farm is open to the public for self-guided walking trails along the beautiful Little River



Wildwood Farm & General Store  - Open daily

Wildwood Farm is one of Virginia's largest daylily farms - with over 600 varieties. 

In addition the General Store featuring Garden Décor and unique garden art, gifts, and home décor. 

EVENTS include Saturday Night Bluegrass music (all year round!) and Sunday Cruise Ins.  During our summer months, we open up our grassy area for cruise-ins on the first & third Sundays of every month.  We also host live music jams on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month for local musicians to come out and play.

  Come on out to the farm & check out our greenhouse! Featuring succulents, amaryllis, Christmas cactus, and so much more.

 While you're at it pop into the store and take a look at our variety of fresh, gourmet and canned products.   From teas, fresh herbs, vinegars, etc.  While we grow produce to create our products, we also believe in sharing our lovely farm with the public for a relaxing, good time.

The Josephine Porter Institute For Applied Bio-Dynamics - JPI Farm -  Open Monday - Friday

  JPI makes high quality biodynamic preparations for farmers and gardeners, as well as teaching BD practitioners to make preparations.  

Open 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, the JPI Farm Office offers a wide variety of biodynamically related books and materials along with our preparations.
