Shaping & Turning Exhibit-Now Open

“Shaping & Turning” is an appreciation of six of the original 16 Hands artists: Rick Hensley, Donna Polseno, Ellen Shankin, Brad Warstler, Sylvie Granatelli, and Susan Icove. This exhibit includes both early and recent ceramics, woodworking, and assembled pieces created over the fifty years since their families chose Floyd County as home. A second exhibit, “By the Grandchildren,” spotlights artifacts in our permanent collections made by Floyd Countians whose ancestors came here during the Revolutionary era.
