Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns are one of Appalachia’s fastest-rising alt-country rock bands, blending raw mountain storytelling with arena-sized energy and deeply soulful performances. Hailing from Beckley, West Virginia — the hometown of Bill Withers — the band has built a loyal following across the region through relentless touring, emotionally charged songwriting, and unforgettable live shows.

Formed in 2016 as an evolution of Matt Mullins’ solo work, the band quickly developed a signature sound rooted in Appalachian authenticity while pulling influences from southern rock, Americana, indie rock, and country soul.
