Join us at the Floyd Center for the Arts for an engaging afternoon of live piano music with Erica Ann Sipes, featuring powerful works by women composers from around the world.
Spanning more than 300 years of music history, this program brings forward voices that have too often gone unheard. Through expressive performance and engaging storytelling, this concert offers a moving and accessible experience for all audiences.
Featuring works by Marianna Martines, Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, Germaine Tailleferre, Mélanie Bonis, Lili Boulanger, and more.
Erica Ann Sipes is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and serves as staff pianist and performance coach at Radford University. She is a founding member of the Alma Ensemble and co-creator of Piano Music She Wrote, both dedicated to amplifying music composed by women. She is a Virginia Commission for the Arts Touring Artist.
