Pick out a beautiful handmade bowl, enjoy a delicious meal, and help fight food insecurity in our local schools.
Floyd Empty Bowls is back for its 14th year – a beloved annual fundraiser supporting the NRCA Floyd County Backpack Program, which provides weekend meals to over 3,800 local students each month. Since 2006, this program has delivered over half a million meals, and by the end of this school year, it will have topped 600,000 meals served to children in need.
🌾 Each full priced meal ticket includes:
✔️ A handcrafted ceramic bowl by local potters (yours to keep!)
✔️ Hearty soup, fresh bread, dessert & beverage
✔️ Live local music and a warm community vibe

The program is 100% volunteer-run, with Floyd Rotary members assembling backpacks every Wednesday. With food costs around $800 a week, every ticket and every donation makes a difference.
