Crooked Mountain is a primitive campground, You-Pick flower farm and store located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway (mm159.3) and four miles from downtown Floyd.
Crooked Mountain is a small veteran-owned working farm and agritourism destination located just 1/2 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway (Mile Marker 159.3), along The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, and only 4 miles from downtown Floyd, Virginia. Nestled in the heart of Southwest Virginia, Crooked Mountain serves as a peaceful farm stay destination and basecamp for travelers looking to explore the mountains, music, backroads, and local culture that make this area so unique.
Guests can stay on the farm in a variety of rustic overnight farm stay sites including creekside, field, and pondside locations designed for tent campers, motorcycle travelers, bicyclists, truck campers, van campers, and other small travel setups looking for a more relaxed, nature-based experience.
Crooked Mountain has also become a natural rider basecamp for motorcycle travelers exploring the scenic roads and backcountry routes of Southwest Virginia.
In addition to overnight stays, the farm features a seasonal You-Pick flower experience with sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, rudbeckia, and other cut flowers throughout the growing season. Guests can also visit our farm store offering local artisan goods, souvenirs, farm products, snacks, drinks, and basic travel and outdoor essentials.
