DESCRIPTION:100% of PROCEEDS GOES TO THE FLOYD COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY! \nJOIN US for an evening of comedy and music AND a 50/50 raffle – all to benefit the sweet fur babies cared for by our cherished Floyd County Humane Society! This evening will be jam packed with adoption information\, laughs\, dancing and FUN! \n**PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR ADMISSION & RAFFLE INFO** \n$10 minimum donation for admission \n~~~~ \n50/50 RAFFLE \n$5 Raffle Tickets – OR – 5 for $20 (optional\, encouraged – and a no-brainer!) \nYour raffle ticket is entered even if you can’t join us for the event! \nRAFFLE WINNERS will be announced at 9pm on October 4th at the event. \nAdmission and raffle tickets can be purchased here online until Oct 3rd\, and will be available at the door on Oct 4th (the day of). \n~~~~ \nMUSIC \nWhitney Lewis Music – Whitney Lewis brings a lifetime of performance experience and a passion for creativity to every venue. Influenced by Led Zeppelin\,  Grateful Dead\,  Jimi Hendrix\, The Allman Bros. and Jefferson Airplane\, he began playing guitar and singing at 16 in 1981. Whitney has formed and recorded original material with several bands starting in 1984 resulting in two full length albums: Sonic Leon (self titled)\,1999 and World Is On Fire by The Buck & Griz Show\, 2024.  He co-wrote and produced both. Whitney has began performing solo primarily and is enhancing his music by using a looper and many guitar effects. Along with dozens of original songs\, he also has a long list of cover songs chosen to appeal to a wide variety of audiences and venues. Whitney Lewis Music is currently recording an album of previously unreleased and new songs\, due to be released in 2025. \nVirginia Hollow – Hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains\, Virginia Hollow is based out of Floyd\, VA. Virginia Hollow’s sound is a blend of Americana\, Country and Folk\, with a hint of Bluegrass and Rock. The trio plays original songs with a few hand-picked covers occasionally sprinkled in. Virginia Hollow shows are filled with good-natured and ever-changing banter between the band members and audience. Lighthearted\, fun\, quippy\, and sometimes serious\, their off-the-cuff commentary adds to the entertainment factor. Their curated sets will take you on a journey through life’s ups\, downs and in-betweens.
