Bring your instrument and join in the music or grab some food and be our audience! \nTHE MUSIC STARTS AT 1:30pm and it is open to the public and free for everyone! \nSunday Music Jams are a great way to see traditional music the way it has been played and handed down for centuries\, amongst friends and family in a community setting. \nThe OLD TIME JAM session takes place from 1:30 – 3:30 pm in the area just in front of our stage and is hosted by a different string band each week\, leading tunes at a moderate speed. Traditional instruments and dancers welcome! \nThe BLUEGRASS JAM takes place from 4:00 – 5:30 pm\, with hosts who lead the group in bluegrass songs and tunes. Song selections and solos pass around the circle.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, May 16th 2026 for this year’s Tour de Floyd. \nThe famed Tour de Floyd is back and better than ever. Now with five different distance options\, including gravel riding and a kids ride! \nIf you haven’t ridden your bike in Floyd\, you are in for a treat! There is plenty of climbing\, plenty of amazing views\, some easy miles and some very challenging stretches. This year’s ride will once again be starting at the Floyd Eco Village just outside the town. \nTour de Floyd is partnering with Red Rooster Coffee and Blue Mountain School to offer 6 aid stations\, including a coffee station at the start (featuring Red Rooster)\, the old classic “Cookie Station”\, and 5 other stations to be sure you get to the end with plenty of gas left in the tank. After the ride\, stick around for chili and cornbread and a cash bar. Riders eat free. Guests are welcome to purchase a bowl of chili — every penny goes back to the school. \nAll proceeds go to benefit Blue Mountain School\, a 44 year old contemplative progressive school in Floyd VA.

General admission tickets are not available in advance and seating is not guaranteed. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 7-12. Kids 6 and under are free. \n\n\nFriend of the Jamboree\nAre you a Friday Night Jamboree regular? Ask about our Friend of the Jamboree program! A $20 membership allows the bearer $7 admission into the Jamboree all year long\, paying for itself in just four visits. Must be purchased at the Floyd Country Store. \n\n\nReserved Seating Tickets\nWe are happy to offer a very limited number of reserved seats\, located in the center section starting from the second row through the fifth row (limited to 42 seats\, maximum eight tickets per order). Seating is assigned on a first-come\, first served basis\, per customer request and special needs. Please include helpful information in the notes section that will help us best accommodate your group. We will do our best to honor requests and seat your group together if possible. \nReserved tickets can be purchased online for $16 each. This exhibit includes both early and recent ceramics\, woodworking\, and assembled pieces created over the fifty years since their families chose Floyd County as home. A second exhibit\, “By the Grandchildren\,” spotlights artifacts in our permanent collections made by Floyd Countians whose ancestors came here during the Revolutionary era.
