General admission tickets are not available in advance and seating is not guaranteed. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 7-12. Kids 6 and under are free. \n\n\nFriend of the Jamboree\nAre you a Friday Night Jamboree regular? Ask about our Friend of the Jamboree program! A $20 membership allows the bearer $7 admission into the Jamboree all year long\, paying for itself in just four visits. Must be purchased at the Floyd Country Store. \n\n\nReserved Seating Tickets\nWe are happy to offer a very limited number of reserved seats\, located in the center section starting from the second row through the fifth row (limited to 42 seats\, maximum eight tickets per order). Seating is assigned on a first-come\, first served basis\, per customer request and special needs. Please include helpful information in the notes section that will help us best accommodate your group. We will do our best to honor requests and seat your group together if possible. \nReserved tickets can be purchased online for $16 each. Since it is a reserved seat\, children using a seat are the same price as adults\, therefore\, ticket reservations need to made for them as well. There are no refunds or exchanges. We ask that you be in your seats by 6:30 pm or your reservation will be canceled. Materials include: 1 glass terrarium container\, planting mediums to create your perfect terrarium style (soil\, moss\, pebbles\, etc.)\, and 3 terrarium-loving foliage plants. Additional plants and terrarium accessories are also available for purchase on the day of the class.\n\n\nClassroom ticket is $75.\n\n\nTickets include 20% off one item on Terrarium night only! Our Plant Shop will be available to shop from 6:00 – 7:30 PM.\n\n\nClassrooms are open to the public with a total of 12 people. Bring your instrument and join in the music or grab some food and be our audience! \nTHE MUSIC STARTS AT 1:30pm and it is open to the public and free for everyone! \nSunday Music Jams are a great way to see traditional music the way it has been played and handed down for centuries\, amongst friends and family in a community setting. \nThe OLD TIME JAM session takes place from 1:30 – 3:30 pm in the area just in front of our stage and is hosted by a different string band each week\, leading tunes at a moderate speed. Traditional instruments and dancers welcome! \nThe BLUEGRASS JAM takes place from 4:00 – 5:30 pm\, with hosts who lead the group in bluegrass songs and tunes. Song selections and solos pass around the circle.

Available for sale online and in the store. \nABOUT DASHAWN & WENDY HICKMAN\nWendy and DaShawn Hickman are a married couple of sweetheart musicians\, rooted in gospel roots and soulful tradition. They share a home in Mt. Airy\, North Carolina. \nDaShawn is one of today’s foremost players of Sacred Steel\, a blues-gospel tradition started in the Pentecostal-Holiness churches of the 1930s. He grew up hearing the pedal steel in the tiny House of God church his family attended in Mt. Airy\, and listening to his mother play lap steel at home. Hickman picked up the instrument at the age of five\, and in his teens\, formed a group with three of his cousins that found fame as The Allen Boys\, North Carolina’s only touring Sacred Steel band. In August 2023 DaShawn was inducted into the Sacred Steel Hall of Fame. \nChanneled by artists like Anita Baker and India Arie\, Wendy’s voice shines with a splash of Tina Turner’s “raspiness” and reminds DaShawn of his most esteemed musical influence: his mother\, Alice Hickman. “I grew up hearing a variety of styles and took from a lot of them and put my spin on it\,” he explained. “But my mother is the one single individual that really influenced me. She’s the one that got me started playing Steel Guitar. She played lap steel\, and one day she put it in my hands and I’ve been doing it ever since.”

A $20 membership allows the bearer $7 admission into the Jamboree all year long\, paying for itself in just four visits. Must be purchased at the Floyd Country Store. \n\n\nReserved Seating Tickets\nWe are happy to offer a very limited number of reserved seats\, located in the center section starting from the second row through the fifth row (limited to 42 seats\, maximum eight tickets per order). Seating is assigned on a first-come\, first served basis\, per customer request and special needs. Please include helpful information in the notes section that will help us best accommodate your group. We will do our best to honor requests and seat your group together if possible. \nReserved tickets can be purchased online for $16 each.
