DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 11th Annual Little River Poetry Festival: A Weekend Retreat from Friday\, June 5 – Sunday\, June 7\, 2026 (begins 1:00 PM Friday\, ends 3:00 PM Sunday).\n\nPROGRAMS:\n\nGentle Yoga\, Poetry Workshops & Readings located at: THE SOWERS’ FARM\, 2053 Thunderstruck Road\, Floyd\, VA 24091\nDaily/Evening Readings\, OPEN MICS & Workshops held in Festival Tent\n*New Addition: Guided Horseback Riding on Mountain Farm\, Friday 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM*\n\nFESTIVAL COST: \n\n\n$60 per person for entire weekend-all poetry programs\n\n\nDrop-ins welcome: $20 per day\, Free Parking\n\nPrimitive Camping (RV/Tent/Van/Car) in the Meadow: $10 per night\nKayak Rental for Sat. DESCRIPTION:SparkFest is a one-day celebration of music and the living earth\, held on the Springhouse campus in Floyd\, VA. SparkFest brings together people of all ages to deepen connection through song\, soil\, and shared work. Come learn new skills like building with cob\, tending the garden\, pulling invasive species\, and crafting harvest baskets\, then gather for live music from local and traveling musicians. \nThe event is free and open to all\, and serves as a fundraiser to support the ongoing work of Springhouse. SparkFest is a family-friendly sober event. \nLive Music by: Mike Mitchell\, Her Majesty\, The Kind\, & Skyler Locke \n**Silvia’s Mexican food available from 5-9 PM (cash only).**\n– Chicken tamales with mole sauce $5\n– Taquitos dorados with chicken and potatoes $10\n– Pupusas made with corn flour that come with beans\, cheese\, and pork rinds (optional) $10\n– Pineapple or Watermelon Aqua Fresca $1 \n**Parking available near campus (please carpool).**
