It includes items that range from early church music to the present music scene\, along with information about individual musicians such as Blind Alfred Reed\, Randall Hylton\, Arthur Conner\, as well as local groups. \nThe Museum is open each Friday and Saturday (through December 6) from noon until 4 pm. There is no admission fee. \nThe Museum Store specializes in books with a focus on local history. We also have a variety of other items\, many of them perfect for gifting history lovers. \nCome visit us in person while you’re in Floyd. There’s a friendly docent awaiting. And visit our website year-round; it’s always open and you can shop from wherever you are!

Old Church Gallery permanent collections of folk art\, coverlets\, baskets\, tools\, quilts\, and soapstone pieces are also on exhibit. The Gallery is open every Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00. There is ample parking and the Gallery is accessible from the Floyd Heritage Walking Trail.
