Born in the mountains of Virginia, singer-songwriter Taylor Kent learned to sing at a very young age. A love for performing and writing soon developed, and throughout her childhood, Taylor made sure to put on a show nearly every day- whether it be merely in her family’s living room, or on stage in front of hundreds. Her family’s move to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, allowed Taylor’s performing career to flourish. At 13, Taylor taught herself guitar, and has been gigging regularly across the lowcountry ever since. Described by many as an “old soul”, Taylor’s main influences include Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, and Tom Petty. She has released one EP available for purchase on iTunes.
