Poetry Night with April Asbury

Join us for an evening of poetry with author April Asbury. April will share a 20 minute poetry reading of her own work and allow for a 20 to 30 minute open mic for local poets to share theirs. Limit three minutes per poem. Please join us for this event.
Bio
April J. Asbury teaches writing and literature at Radford University. She earned her M.F.A. from Spalding University and M.A. from Hollins. Her work appears in Artemis, Still: The Journal, The Anthology of Appalachian Writers, and other publications. Her webpage and writing blog are available at apriljasbury@com. In 2021, Finishing Line Press published her poetry collection, Woman with Crows.
