Phase Two of “Forward VA” – CHECK STATUS OF BELOW EVENTS-

Phase 2 of “Forward Virginia” is expected to begin in VA in our area on Friday, June 5 – Executive Order #65 (Northern VA and Richmond remain in Phase 1)

This means that VA maintains a Safer at Home strategy with continued recommendations for social distancing and requiring individuals to wear face coverings in indoor public settings.

The maximum number of individuals permitted in a social gathering increases from 10 to 50 people  (So some regular events might start back up with these limitations)

Restaurants and beverage establishments- may offer INDOOR DINING at 50% occupancy  (Outdoor dining and take out continues)

Performance venues and outdoor concerts may open with these restrictions

Due to the coronavirus, all major events in Floyd VA have been cancelled or postponed through early June or later.
