Mushroom Cultivation Workshop

Join Adam Fisher for an afternoon learning about the cultivation of various fun fungi at home!

In this class you will learn about:
�- the life cycle of mushrooms
– how to identify various mushroom species
�- different types of mushrooms that can be grown locally
�- growing on logs and woodchip beds
�- where to source spawn
�- incorporating mushrooms into permaculture settings

All this will include hands-on demonstrations while you prepare your very own shiitake or oyster mushroom log to take home.

Blue Ridge Center for Chinese Medicine

$40 per person
includes an innoculated log to take home.
