Dine for a Cause

We are delighted to announce that Charles D. Thompson will be our speaker for our annual Dine for a Cause event at the Floyd EcoVillage. Thompson is Professor of the Practice of Cultural Anthropology and Documentary Studies at Duke University. He recently wrote Going Over Home, A Search for Rural Justice in an Unsettled Land. He will be sharing some of his extensive work and knowledge during this community gathering as a farmer, activist and educator. As usual, a beans and rice dinner will be provided.
