Making their second appearance on the Chantilly Farm stage and back by popular demand, The Steeldrivers continue to be one the hottest touring acts in bluegrass music today. As winners of the 2016 GRAMMY award for Bluegrass Album of the Year, the band has enjoyed enormous success in recent years selling out shows from coast to coast with their trademark sound and impressive stage show. The band has wowed audiences at some of the largest major festivals including Bonnaroo, Merlefest, Wintergrass, Bristol Rhythm and Roots and Telluride Bluegrass Festival. It’s their populist approach that finds their devotees — self-proclaimed “SteelHeads”– traveling hundreds of miles to see them in repeat performances. “It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since our first album,” bandleader Tammy Rogers muses. “And yet, even with all the change and transition, we still have the same joy and enthusiasm that we did in the beginning”.
The Steeldrivers close out the
Saturday evening programming at this year’s 9th Annual Chantilly Farm Bluegrass
& BBQ Festival on May 24-25, 2019. In addition, the festival will feature
