SustainFloyd Film Series: “Freightened”

The 2017 SustainFloyd Spring Film Series final film of the Series will be “Freightened,” an audacious investigation into the mechanics and perils of cargo shipping. “Freightened” will be shown on Thursday evening, May 18 at the Floyd Country Store.

Everyone is invited and asked to bring a dish for a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. that will be followed by the film, at about 6:30 p.m

SustainFloyd is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that founded the Floyd Farmers Market. SustainFloyd aims to localize the economy; enhance and protect natural and cultural resources; develop robust local food systems; and advance issues related to energy independence, access to markets, transportation, recycling and education.
