ROOTS WITH WINGS Celebration & Movie Premiere

Dear ROOTS WITH WINGS Friend,

Each year ROOTS WITH WINGS celebrates the end of the spring semester with a Movie Premiere for the videos made by this year’s students.  Our Celebration/Movie Premiere will be TUESDAY MAY 29, 2:00 PM, at Floyd County High School (721 Baker Street) in Room 208, Mr. Kevin Law’s classroom.  Room 208 is in the main high school building, near the end of the building that is next to the smaller vocational building.

We continued our “Neighborhoods and Communities” series this year with interviews with residents of some of Floyd County’s intentional communities.  Please come join us as we watch the half dozen short movies students created from the interviews.

ROOTS WITH WINGS is an outreach of the Floyd Story Center at the Old Church Gallery, in partnership with Floyd County High School and Radford University (RU).  If you would like more information about the Project, just let me know.
