Raising Teens is an education class for parents of adolescents.
It is said that it takes a village to raise a child; we say, it takes a village to support the parents, too! Using Harvard and MIT’s heavily researched report, “Raising Teens,” among other guides, this course explores the role of parents of teens as they navigate the “Ten Tasks of Adolescence” and provides a space for parents to support each other through this vital journey of guiding our children into a holistic adulthood. The Raising Teens course is hosted by TriArea Community Health in Floyd and facilitated by Cheryl Utley, Springhouse faculty.
