The Floyd “Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM)” program is a Crooked Road/JAM program held every Monday for Floyd Co. students, private and homeschooled students in grades 3–12 at the June Bug Center on Monday afternoons from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Students are introduced to music through small group instruction on instruments common to the Appalachian region, such as fiddle, banjo and guitar.
School buses arrive daily at the JBC for after school classes and programs. Snacks and instruments will be provided for this program.
This semesters program will begin on January 14. Tuition is based on a sliding scale.
