An event every month that begins at 8:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until June 10, 2017
Join us with a hall full of friendly dancers, easy relaxed fun for all ages, live music, and the magic of this long-standing community event. Jacksonville Center for the Arts (hall on second floor), Floyd. Beginner lesson 7:35 p.m., 8 p.m. dance. $8. admission. $6.50 student ID. Singles and newcomers are always welcome. Community contra dances sponsored by Blue Ridge Country Dancers every second Saturday, September through June. www.floydcontradance.org
